The most powerful part of your testimony

The most powerful part of your testimony comes from the ugliest part of your story. The ability to overcome adversity, tragedy, and setbacks shows who you are. Not everyone is blessed with the tools, resources, or guidance to help them navigate their way to a fulfilling and what we deem as a successful life, but as individuals, we do have the ability to "lace up our bootstraps," dig deep, and find a way to obtain that which we seek. The greatest testimonies typically start with ugly and dark truths that force us to make changes and decisions once we challenge the narrative. I share my stories as a testament to show that hardship doesn't have to be your final destination but the start of an unfinished race in which to navigate through. Don't allow your ugly stories to end up being your last story and final testimony.
